I think I'm going to do my homework tomorrow

Promisses
You can use will to express promisses

Planned future
The future with 'going to' is used to express planned events or intentions.
These events or intentions are decided on before the moment of speaking.
I'm going to do my homework tomorrow.
NOTE: 'Going to' or '-ing' are often both correct for planed events.
'Going to' should be used for distant future intentions (example: He's going to study Law)
I'm doing my homework tomorrow.
-ing is used for planned or personally scheduled events.

Usually used with principle verbs such as:
come, go, begin, start, finish, have, etc.

Unplanned future (and promises)
The future with 'will' is used to make decisions.
When we decide to do something at the moment of speaking, we use will.
I have to go now. I'll do my homework tomorrow.
I'll help you.

Scheduled future
Used for scheduled public events such as train and plane schedules, course schedules, etc.
The plane leaves at 11:30.
