THEY also tend to be more
irreverent and slangy (=very colloquial)
in their writing style
In a crime story,
a broadsheet refers to a police officer,
while a tabloid calls him a cop.
BROADSHEETS are more serious.THEY are more respected newspapers.There are serious tabloids, but they are few.
