SO much ≠ TOO much

She talks so much.

She talks too much.

She talks a lot.

She talks very much.

She talks so much.  = She talks a lot
observations WITHOUT JUDGEMENT

She talks TOO much.  =  she should talk less
observation WITH JUDGEMENT

She talks very much is not a full sentence an AmE speaker is likely to say – don't know about other areas. The only time we're likely to say these words in that order is when followed by a mention of some topic, for example:
She talks very much about saving the children in Uganda.

1. Very much -  often used for negatives...
a. I don´t like it very much.
b.'Did you like it?' "Very much".


2. So much -  simple observation
a. We wasted so much water.
b. She helps him so much.


3. Too much observation expressing excess (with judgement)
a. You drank too much.(Você bebeu demais.)
b. She eats too much meat.(Ela come carne demais.)


4. Plenty enough, or, at least the quantity we need.
a. There's no need to hurry.You have plenty of time.
b. But there are plenty of animals and birds.

6. A lot observation expressing excess (without judgement)
a. You talk a lot. (You talk so much.)
b. I walked a lot. (I walked so much.)


7. A lot of before nouns.
a. We have a lot of money.(Nós temos muito dinheiro.)
b. He has a lot of friends.(Ele tem muitos amigos.)
