Over 60% of Americans think owning a gun will make their lives safer.
In fact, owning a gun increases the risk of homicide, suicide and unintentional death.
To make first-time gun buyers think twice, we did the unthinkable.
We opened a gun shop in NYC With hundreds of guns. All of them with a history.
Hidden cameras captured the gun buyers' reactions.

I was showing your wife. First gun that I showed her was this
revolver. It's the easiest gun we have to use. It's our most popular
one. It's 22-caliber, six-inch revolver. It's also a gun that a
five-year-old found in his parent's bedroom and went down and shot his
nine-month-old baby brother with it.
When it says, "Shooter, a five-year-old kid dead," what does that mean?
That's the history of the gun.
This is the one? This is the one that the kid used? Holy [bleep].

This is a nine-millimeter semi-automatic. It's a very handy gun. It's
easy to use and carry it in your purse like the gal from Walmart. Her

Collectors love this one. Adam Lanza's mom had this in her collection
too. So he took this one and several other guns and killed her and went
down to Sandy Hook, killed six teachers and 20 innocent children, 20
little kids --gone, like that.
You walked into a McDonald's in San Diego, killed 21 and injured 19.
It's one of the deadliest man shootings in American history.
They thought, ironically that they were protecting their nine-month-old.
She thought she was protecting her two-year-old.
Nine-millimeter semi-automatic.
Forty-caliber compact.
Forty-five caliber.
Nine-millimeter submachine gun.
Twelve-gage, pump action shotgun.

This is how they left.
I was pretty blindsighted by just the entire history of every gun in the store.
It made me actually think that I'm not going to buy that gun.
It made me think twice and I would not buy one.
It is one of our rights, but my opinion has definitely changed. I don't feel safe with a gun.
You don't want to be the Walmart case.

Changing the conventional "way of thinking"

There was this robbery in Guangzhou, the robber shouted to everyone: "All don't move, money belongs to the state, life belongs to you."
Everyone in the bank laid down quietly.
This is called "Mind Changing Concept --> Changing the conventional "way of thinking".

One lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her "Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a rape!"
This is called "Being Professional --> Focus only on what you are trained to do!"

When the robbers got back, the younger robber (MBA trained) told the older robber (who is only primary school educated), "Big bro, let's count how much we got", the older robber rebutted and said, "You very stupid, so much money, how to count, tonight TV will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!"
This is called "Experience --> nowadays experience is more important than paper qualifications!"

After the robbers left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. The supervisor says "Wait, wait wait, let's put the 5 million RMB we embezzled into the amount the robbers robbed".
This is called "Swim with the tide --> converting an unfavorable situation to your advantage!"

The supervisor says "It will be good if there is a robbery every month".
This is called "Killing Boredom --> Happiness is most important."

The next day, TV news reported that 100 million RMB was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count 20 million RMB.
